I Like Old Stuff! | Founder
When I was laid off earlier this year, I decided to start a clothing reseller business to give me a creative outlet and an excuse to buy stuff from thrift stores.
I had also just began digitizing some VHS tapes that have been in my family for 30+ years. A lot of the tapes contained extremely nostalgic old commercials. I knew if I put them on TikTok, others would love them as much as I did.
As the accounts quickly gained traction and followers, I realized it would be a unique way to advertise my clothing accounts by linking them to the profiles.

I occasionally assisted in vehicle wrap mockups for the Sales team to use in their outreach to potential clients.

Desperate for more creative opportunity in this small startup role, I pitched the idea to do a video series highlighting real testimonials from members of our contracted driver community to serve as driver outreach and recruitment.
Our CEO loved the idea and let me take full ownership of getting it done.
